If there is one constant in my life, it is my relationship with music.  I remember my mom blasting Fiddler on the Roof or Bat Out Of Hell on Saturday mornings while she cleaned the entire house.  She'd be hanging halfway out the window singing along to The Wall or Peter Paul and Mary like a rock and roll daredevil, dirty windows and laundry be damned! It is such a vivid memory and happy place for me to go. I point there as the start of it all.  

I learned to turn to music when faced with, or in search of, intense emotions.  I have always trusted this instinct, and it has never let me down.  Listening wasn't enough though. I have been playing guitar and writing songs as a form of  therapy, meditation, self pity, self love, self building, self understanding, self reckoning, avoidance, grieving, celebration, love, soul baring, expression throughout this life.
